William Elijah's Testimonial
William (Big Will) Elijah dealt with several tragic personal blows and had reached 544 lbs. Big Will explains: "June 2003 changed my life forever. I had gastric bypass surgery. I've grown to accept that I'm a stress eater and over the past ten years I tried and failed at losing weight and keeping it off. I had to admit to myself that I needed help. I noticed my life slowing to the point that the normal things of life were not the same for me anymore."
 When he realized how much weight he'd gained, he told himself:"You can't live like this anymore Will, stop lying to yourself. I was not healthy inside or out." He experienced extremely painful joints, asthma and sleep apnea, symptoms that disappeared after surgery.
Knowing the procedure was not a quick fix, he goes to the gym regularly for water aerobics and weight training and watches what he eats. "My post-op life has changed for the better. I enjoy my days. I look forward to new things growing as a person and as an entertainer. I know I made the right choice for me...invest in yourself. If it wasn't for the love of my family, the people at LivLite and my docs, I wouldn't be here today. I owe the rest of my life to them and to help as many people as I can."
