Insurance plans often cover a portion of weight loss surgery if it is deemed to be "medically necessary." For some insurance plans obtaining prior authorization is quite easy. However obtaining approval can be very difficult, even when bariatric surgical procedures are a covered benefit.

If insurance approval cannot be obtained, we have a cash payment plan. Visa and Master Card are also accepted by our hospitals. We constantly negotiate with these hospitals to secure the lowest charges for our patients. We can work with you to develop creative approaches and tackle the costs of your surgery.
